Albert Hofmann

Albert Hofmann (born 11 January 1906 in Baden, Aargau, and died 29 April 2008 in La Bourg, Canton Basel-Landschaft) was a Swiss chemist. He is best known for his discovery of LSD with Professor Arthur Stoll, for whom he was a laboratory assistant. Hofmann was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Geneva2.
