Angela Stienne

Angela Stienne is a cultural historian, museum researcher and storyteller. She is the founder of MummyStories (https://www.mummystories.com), an online platform inviting the public to engage with questions of ethics in museums. She is Honorary Research Fellow School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, UK and elected member of the Royal Historical Society. She is the 2019 winner of the Future Leader Award at the University of Leicester and a twice-nominee for the Diversability Award. She is the author of numerous articles for international journals and recently published Mummified: The Stories Behind Egyptian Mummies in Museums (Manchester University Press).
