Andrew T. Jaffe, M.D.

Andrew T. Jaffe, M.D. is a physician, board certified in Dermatology and Mohs surgery, with a long-standing interest in consciousness and the nature of reality. In Living the Dream, published by Essentia Books in 2026, he sets out Cognitive Dream Interface Theory (CDIT), which holds that awareness is primary and that the physical world is a rendered, lawful and shared appearance within it. He draws on neuroscience, physics, evolutionary biology and philosophy to make nondual insights accessible. He has written on the theory for the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI News), in the article Reality is a dream not a simulation. He lives in Naples, Florida.
