Alain Peeters
Alain Peeters is an agronomist and agroecologist. He trained at the University of Louvain in Belgium, where he also taught for more than 20 years. For 20 years, he served as coordinator of the FAO/CIHEAM Grasslands and Fodder Network for Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. He is Director of the RHEA Research Center and Secretary General of the European Association for agroecology, Agroecology Europe (www.agroecology-europe.org). For the past 10 years, he has been developing agroecological systems on farms in Northwestern Europe.
