lnvasive plants: threat or bee pasture?

lnvasive plants are often considered evil intruders in our natural environment. They are said to eliminate domestic plants and to be worthless for wildlife. But is this really true? In this book Wolf Dieter Storl shows us how to become friends with invasive plants. Based on sound facts and evidence he proves that plants such as giant hogweed, Canada goldenrod, or Himalayan balsam are not in the least a problem. In the countries they originate from, many of them are considered precious food, economic or healing plants, and some are even valued as sacred plants used for Shamanic or other rituals. This book offers a totally new perspective on »wandering« plants and helps us to understand and make good use of them.
