For more than 25 years, Stadelmann Verlag has stood for holistic and
naturopathic knowledge transfer and healthy living.
When midwife Ingeborg Stadelmann was looking for a publisher for her
first book “Die Hebammen-Sprechstunde – Consultations with a midwife”
in 1994, she was not lucky at first. Well-known publishing houses
rejected her manuscript – too extensive, too text-heavy, not very
“consumer-friendly,” were the arguments. She decided to found her own
publishing house to bring her first book to the light of day. With great
success! In 2021, the publishing house was awarded the German Publishing
Prize.
