Our literary agency was created in 1992 by Christian Schweiger and Marie Piaud proposing bookrights of french, english and german non-fiction titles in the fields of body, mind and spirit which were soon completed by illustrated and fiction titles.

 Today Agence Schweiger represents 130 french, german and english speaking publishers in various fields (see below) and has co-agents all over the world.

Christian Schweiger has studied German, English and American Language and Literature. He obtained a Magister in Salzburg and an M.A. at Ohio State University and had various teaching assignments in England, the USA and France where he also studied Ethnolinguistics. He also translates books from english and french into german.

Marie Schweiger-Piaud has studied Psychology, Arts and Ethnology in France, India and Canada, obtained her Maitrise (M.A.) in Paris and is a diplomed Yoga teacher and Sophrologist. She is also specialised in Psycho-Genealogy, numerology and birth themes.
